This project in St. Albans, Vermont involved a complete roof system upgrade, including full replacement of the existing roof decking followed by installation of Owens Corning Duration shingles. After removing the old materials, we identified areas where the decking had deteriorated and installed new structural sheathing to ensure a solid, reliable foundation. The roofing system was then built using ice and water shield in critical areas, high-quality underlayment, and precise flashing details to protect against Vermont’s snow, ice, and moisture. Owens Corning Duration shingles were selected for their strength, wind resistance, and long-term durability. The result is a properly built roofing system from the deck up, designed to perform in the demanding conditions of northern Vermont.
